About Zedron Studio
Every piece is produced in small batches from our Belfast studio, where each model is prepared, printed, finished and inspected by hand. Working in small batches allows us to focus on consistency and continually refine every collection as it develops.
A contemporary design studio guided by three core principles.
Respect for the Planet
Plant-Based PLA
Our primary material is PLA, a bioplastic derived from annually renewable plant materials, including corn starch and sugarcane, rather than petroleum or other fossil resources.
Marble PLA
Many of our sculptures are produced using marble-filled PLA, a composite material containing genuine marble powder. This gives each piece a naturally matte finish and subtle stone-like texture that complements classical sculpture.
Industrially Compostable
PLA is biodegradable under controlled industrial composting conditions, where specialized facilities provide the heat, humidity and microbial activity required for decomposition.
Responsible Packaging
Every order is packaged using recyclable or recycled materials wherever possible. We avoid unnecessary plastic and design our packaging to protect each piece while minimizing environmental impact.
Responsible Waste Management
Failed prints and production offcuts are either recycled or offered at a discount as Studio Seconds, extending the life of each piece and helping to reduce unnecessary waste.
Respect for History
Many works are based on public-domain sculptures or museum collections. Wherever possible, we research the history of the original artwork and acknowledge its creator, period and cultural context, allowing each object to celebrate both the original work and its continuing relevance today.
Respect for Human Creativity
Every collection is developed through human research, design and craftsmanship. AI is not used in the artistic design or modelling of our products, ensuring that each piece reflects deliberate creative decisions rather than automated generation. Technology supports the manufacturing process, but creativity remains firmly in human hands.
